TPSP
The Texas Performance Standards Project (TPSP) is an independent study course offered to juniors and seniors. This course is designed to help fulfill requirements for the Distinguished Achievement Plan of graduation. Students will work on independent projects within their own specific areas of interest. Students will be required to present projects to a panel of professionals in their chosen area of study. With the help of the instructor students will select a mentor and work with this professional for additional guidance. Generally, this course focuses on research in the fall and product creation in the spring. This course will focus on self-discipline, strong time management skills and passion for a certain area or career. Students must be able to provide transportation to meet with mentors and conduct off campus research.
